League projects provide you ways to:
- contribute valuable service to the community
- gain knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics
- discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in your community
- make professional contacts and develop lasting friendships as you meet others in League who share your interests

The League of Women Voters is one of the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country.

How much time does it take?

It's up to you to choose from a broad spectrum of participation levels. You may choose to become a member of our Board of Directors to provide planning leadership to the organization; you can become involved in research and analysis of a group study; you have the opportunity to listen to a panel of experts at our meetings, and read about policy issues in our publications. What do I get?

Your membership gives you easy and regular access to an extensive League non-partisan public policy experts and material. You are a part of three organizations in the league, receiving membership and publications from state, national and Placer County leagues. You will have the knowledge that you are adding your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
